Loren Wiseman, co-founder of Game Designers Workshop and one of the developers of the SF RPG Traveller and Space 1889, and the near-future RPG Twilight 2000, apparently died on Wednesday.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loren_Wiseman

update - apparently he'd been crowd-funding medical treatment for several years due to blood pressure, diabetes, and heart surgery.

update - Wikipedia is now showing his birth date as 1951.

Do you happen to know how old he was? Wikipedia seems not to know his year of birth.
