My birthday isn't for a couple of weeks, but I've decided it's time to go with a more current user picture as my default, it's silly using one that's seven nearly ten years old. For some reason only about 2/3rds of the entries on my most recent page have changed icons; either I specifically used the old one rather than default, or it takes a while to propagate. Anyway, this is me. Or a reasonable facsimile anyway...

Thanks - it feels a little lop-sided but I do tend to tilt my head slightly so I suppose it's reasonably accurate.

Actually it'll be my tenth year on Livejournal on October 22nd. I hadn't thought to check the date for that until you mentioned it.

Lol. I thought you were updating your profile pic because it was your lj birthday. Mine's in April, eight years and counting. It's weird to know how long we've been on a site. A small eternity.

No, it's because I'm coming up to my 60th birthday, needed to get photo ID for a free travel pass, and realised my LJ picture was overdue for replacement.

I think my old one goes back more or less to when I joined Livejournal. The other icons really don't matter if they age, but anything purporting to be me ought to have some vague link to current reality, I suppose.
