I think this is my best moon picture so far, with the cheapo 500mm lens at 1/250th second F16. I've punched up the contrast a little, otherwise it isn't edited. It was hand-held, not on a tripod, which is why I've rejected ten other pictures that weren't as sharp. Not sure if I was holding the camera exactly level, but it's close enough for my purposes. I've decided I'm going to pass on the big telescope to someone who lives in an area where there's actually decent visibility, which isn't London. I'll sort that out in the New Year anyway.
