Subject:Two more RPG bundle offers - Cthulhu Britannica and other Cubicle 7 stuff
Time:09:06 pm
Two more bundles - one is for Cthulhu Britannica, Call of Cthulhu stuff with a British setting from Cubicle 7 publishing, the other is for some French RPGs published in translation by Cubicle 7. Both look interesting:

Cthulhu Britannica

https://bundleofholding.com/presents/CthulhuBritannica

"Cthulhu Britannica is Cubicle 7 Entertainment's long-running series of Call of Cthulhu supplements and scenarios that bring the Mythos to the British Isles. This offer includes the original Cthulhu Britannica scenario collection, the giant London supplement (a spectacular Kickstarter success in November 2013), and the entire London support line.

We provide each ebook complete in .PDF (Portable Document Format). Like all Bundle of Holding titles, these books have NO DRM (Digital Restrictions Management), and our customers are entitled to move them freely among all their ereaders.

Ten percent of each purchase (after gateway fees) goes to this offer's designated charity, Doctors Without Borders.

The total retail value of the titles in this offer at launch is US$118. Customers who pay just US$17.95 get both titles in our Starter Collection (retail value $65) as DRM-free .PDF ebooks: the original Cthulhu Britannica scenario collection (retail price $15) and the complete Cthulhu Britannica London set (retail $50).

Those who pay more than the threshold (average) price, which is set at $24.95 to start, also get our entire Bonus Collection with three more titles (retail value $53):
  • The Curse of Nineveh - The curse of Nabu, let loose in 1920s London
  • The Journal of Reginald Campbell Thompson - The first-person account of the cursed Nineveh expedition
  • The Journal of Neve Selcibuc - A young American woman in Mythos-haunted London
At least one more title will be added later. "When a title is added after launch, ALL customers who previously purchased the bundle automatically receive the newly added title, REGARDLESS of whether or not they paid higher than average. This is their reward for buying early."

Cubicle 7 Worlds

https://bundleofholding.com/presents/Cubicle7

"This collection, our richest offer ever, presents four fantasy RPGs originally published in French by the design studio Le 7ème Cercle [site in French], and published in English translation by Cubicle 7 Entertainment. Qin: The Warring States, Keltia, Yggdrasill, Kuro were all masterminded by Neko (7ème Cercle CEO Valérie Laproye). They're set in ancient China, in Britain and Scandinavia in the Dark Ages, and in near-future Japan. This spectacular offer presents all four of these games and their complete English-language support lines -- a total retail value of US$233. We've presented three of these fine games (Qin, Kuro, and Yggdrasill) in past offers -- but even if you have those, the new supplements here are still worth $155.

The total retail value of the titles in this offer is US$233. Customers who pay just US$14.95 get all four complete games in our Starter Collection (retail value $95) as DRM-free .PDF ebooks:
  • Qin: The Warring States (retail price $25): The gorgeous 272-page rulebook of adventure, glory, and martial-arts action in ancient China.
  • Keltia (retail $25): In Ynys Prydein (Britain) in the late 5th Century, Myrddin the Elder guides heroes of Destiny to pave the way for Arthur Pendraeg.
  • Kuro (retail $20): Unremitting Japanese horror -- "Ghost in the Shell meets The Ring" -- in a dark high-tech future. Includes the free adventure Last Stop.
  • Yggdrasill - Lands of the North (retail $25): Scandinavian explorers seek glory and immortality from the snowy plains of Jutland to the halls of Northern kings.
Those who pay more than the threshold (average) price, which is set at $27.95 to start, also get our entire Bonus Collection with ten more titles (retail value $138) -- the complete English-language support lines for all four games in the Starter Collection.
  • For Qin: Qin Bestiary (retail $15), Legends (retail $10), The Art of War (retail $18), and The Tournament of Scarlet and White (retail $5).
  • The sole Keltia sourcebook in English, Avalon (retail $12).
  • The rest of the Kuro trilogy: Makkura (retail $15) and Tensei (retail $18).
  • Everything for Yggdrasill: The Nine Worlds (retail $15), Kings of the Sea (retail $15), and Uppsala (retail $15).
There don't seem to be any surprise extras for this one.

The Cthulhu stuff looks interesting and I came close to buying the main book in dead tree form at Dragonmeet a couple of weeks ago - now VERY glad I didn't. Not sure about the fantasy games, I've been out of the scene for a long time, but it looks good value and the design is very pretty. I think they're both pretty good offers, but as usual I have to point out that I get this stuff free if I want it, your mileage may vary.
