I can sort of understand this from the point of view of most people only having one printer, but this is Windows 10 pro, aimed at businesses, where there might be dozens of printers on a network. And I'm a home user with three printers; laser, an A3 inkjet, and the label printer.
It's easily fixed, in the end, once you go on line and find out how to do it, but it seems weird that that's the default.
