Today's School Fete Bargains

Spent about fifteen quid, for which I got

Two new DVDs - Avatar, which I haven't seen yet, and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, which I bought knowing it would go straight to eBay since it was (a) Blu-Ray, (b) unused and (c) dirt cheap. It's here if anyone is actually interested.

Frostbitten by Kelly Armstrong - new hardcover

Dead in the Family by Charlaine Harris - new hardcover

and, somewhat bizarrely, a 100-watt Hilka soldering iron and a reel of solder which I'm pretty sure is the old lead type, highly sought after by solder aficionados who don't worship at the alter of Health and Safety.

Also had quite a good burger and wasted three pounds on the bottle tombola without winning anything.

All in all quite a good haul, and since the proceeds go to the school it's helping them too, which indirectly helps me.
