Pearson's Weekly

Just picked up a bound volume of Pearson's Weekly on eBay. It's from 1918 so probably a lot of it will be war-related, but hopefully it'll be a useful source of period ads etc. It's the first time I've seen the magazine at an affordable price, it'll be interesting to see what it's like. Assuming it reaches me, which given the current crapness of the postal service may not be an entirely safe assumption...

Meanwhile the graphics card speakr2customrs gave me is at £13.50 on eBay with three hours to go, all proceeds to Cancer Research UK. I hope that there will be a last-minute bidding frenzy. It's here if you're interested and haven't already bid.
